PARKERS PACK A PUNCH
FOR CHARITY

AMAZING RESULT FOR OUR PARTNER CHARITY

After three months of intensive training, Parkers’ Tonbridge branch manager Martin Ballantyne stepped into the boxing ring to raise funds for our 2011 Partner Charity Teenage Cancer Trust.

Martin and his opponent, customer Mark Lynch, survived three gruelling rounds and the end result was a tight points decision. The two brave warriers dedicated themselves to raising as much money as possible for their chosen cause, and they didn’t let them down ...

over £2,500 was raised

from ticket sales, raffle and an auction. A magnificent achievement.

A big thanks to Sevenoaks Boxing Club who gave us the use of their Gym free of charge for the training and the fight. A documentary of the run up to the fight is currently being edited and highlights can be found on the video link on our Teenage Cancer Trust pages.
