Our tool hire service can help to make your job easier. We can supply small tools, plant equipment, lifting and safety equipment, accommodation, welfare hire and much more from our tool hire centres – all at competitive rates with flexible hire durations.
You’ll find our tool hire centres in our Worthing, Eastbourne and St Leonards branches.
There are also tool hire centres at our sister merchants; Chandlers Building Supplies – in their Brighton and Petworth branches, and at Fairalls Builders Merchants - in their Godstone High Street branch.
We offer local delivery around our tool hire centres, with our dedicated vehicles, or you can collect your tools from us if you prefer.
Our tool hire service is run by our team of in-house experts, and our fleet is serviced and maintained to the highest standards. We are a member of the Hire Association of Europe and we are working towards our SafeHire accreditation.
The SafeHire Certification Scheme was launched in 2000 and has been developed with the guidance of safety and quality agencies, including the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). In 2010 SafeHire was endorsed by the British Standards Institute (BSi) as a Private Standard.
Members achieving SafeHire Certification will: prove competence in safety, health, environment and quality.
Every tool that is hired from us is issued with full instructions and safety guides. Our tool hire teams are also on hand to answer any technical questions and guide you through the familiarisation of how our tools are operated.

We also offer skip hire with skips from 4 yards to 40 yards for general waste. And for skips for wood, asbestos, plaster and demolition waste, we offer skips in sizes from 4 yards to 20 yards.
